RCC Receives $500,000 for workforce training
Golden Leaf Foundation provides funding through Community Assistance Grant
The Golden Leaf Foundation is concerned with the needs of economic depressed counties like Robeson.
The Foundation has provided $2.7M in grant funds to Robeson County and RCC is slated to receive $500,000 for advanced manufacturing facilities and equipment for workforce training.
The money will be used to renovate Building 12. The renovations will allow for new labs that will offer classes in new basic industrial skills.
